ELEMENTARY ORCHESTRA
That's 5th and 6th grade!
GENERAL INFORMATION
The SBCMEA Elementary Honor Orchestra is made up of students who are in 5th-6th from elementary and middle schools in San Bernardino County. We include 6th grade students from middle schools because the middle school ensemble is only for 7th8th grade students.
Since there are no auditions, the students are seated randomly on the first rehearsal. Coaches/teachers may adjust the seating to group students by playing ability during the second rehearsal. We do NOT label any students as section leaders or concert masters, because formal auditions are not conducted.
